Saint Joseph Villa welcomes
persons fourteen years of age or older to serve the Villa community by
volunteering your time and talents. Villa Volunteers partner with the
Sisters of Saint Joseph in their mission of uniting people with God and
with one another. The gifts of volunteers enhance life at the Villa in
a number of ways, such as:
• Visiting one-on-one with
residents
• Serving as a receptionist for Villa visitors
• Escorting residents to and from activities, for example to
Physical Therapy, Villa Hairdressers
• Assisting with the Fine-Dining Experience
• Working in the Villa Gift Shop
• Serving as a Eucharistic Minister
• Conducting or assisting with activities
• Assisting with housekeeping tasks, eg. making
residents’
beds
• Performing clerical tasks
• Caring for residents’ laundry
• Sewing and mending residents’ clothing
• Assisting with numerous other tasks which support resident
life
